Can't open the window because had to board it up to shield the light from outdoors so anymore suggestions on how to get fresh air/ oxygen in to the room?

actually the only other thing i would do is measure the window, cut a piece of wood to fit the opening, cover the side of the wood facing out with black plastic or whatever youre using for camo, and cut a hole in the middle of it and run some ducting to an intake fan.
sounds complicated but its the best i can think of.:D

Door Vents (http://www.atlantasupply.com/swscripts/NLNETUPD.OBJ?REQR_TYPE=O&REQR_ID=NEW+CUSTOMER&AUTH_ID=+&&LOC_NO=001&PROD_CAT_NM=Wall+Register&PC=WC&SC=X8&REQUEST_ID=CCATSEL_AS2)
Something like the last one on the page in the link.
One at bottom, one at top with a fan pushing out hot air? Can make a curtain to pull closed if light is a problem during dark period, on the inside over the vents. Gotta cut the door though. Perhaps one opening at the top... Still gotta cut the door. Would the owner mind the alteration?
