My plants have been in 2 gallon pots fir most of their life, and I just put them into flowering 3 days ago. Are 2 gallon buckets big enough?

depends on the strain and how long you have been vegging. if they been in there a long time i would consider repotting

I believe the size of the plant would be the determining factor as well as the size you want them to be whwn they finish. Do you have unlimited room or are you growing in a confined area? A plant will get rootbound if the pot is too small and will just stop growing. If you were going to transplant into bigger pot i would have done it before i started flowering them as well. Good luck hope this helps.:rastasmoke:

i let these sour grapes veg for about a week in 2 gallon pots and they are almost 3ft high. it just depends on your growing style and strain. the stretch has passed and its beginning 4th week. i believe if i did this with a pure sativa i would be in big trouble. right now its pushing it.

Hard to tell without pics, but it wouldn't be a bad idea. Transplanting after switching to 12/12 is fine. It actually helps by giving the roots fresh ph balanced soil. Ph problems in soil start in about 6-8 weeks without transplant (the lime runs out and ph drops). I transplant in week 1 or 2 of flowering and no ph problems here
