hello im a medical patient and i would like to learn more about growing sog.
i have space for four plants. So what i wanted to do is harvest two plants every month.so what my question is if i want to start from seed when should i start planting my seed so it is at a good size to put it in flowering...if i want two plants in their every month?

im in soil...hps light and i dont really know the strain,but is an 8 weeker

I SoG Grow 10-12 plants at a time. A SoG grow should be done from clones, only the mothers should be grown out from seed. Flowering is an 8 week period, so if you want to harvest every month you will need multiple grow spaces. One space for you mother and her offspring, a 2nd space for first month flowering, and a 3rd space for second month flowering.

ok if you want two plants a month then every month you need to add two plants to the flowering room. simple as that

I think you would want to have clones w/ roots 1 pair per month trickling on down the board from clone, to veg growth stage (2weeks 24hr. on/ 1hr off), flower growth stage (12on/12off for 60-70days or when trichomes are 50/50 clear and amber in color). Then 2-3 week drying then jar curing time.
Now making that a simple time I'd assume you will have 2 plants going in and out every month once your cycle starts. If your plants have to grow a little longer in veg before being allowed to flower then expect a payoff in that batch but beware they triple in size from growth stage and fully bloomed. Make sure you have the room.

The answer to this is dependent upon you usage.

How much do you smoke?/vap/otherwise use (edible ) ???????

4 plants is not enough for sog, but a scrog will do nicely. look up scrog or screen of green. this is what you are looking for I think.

You must be thinking of Scrog.

In SOG, do you go to 12/12 right away with the clones?

I want to try SOG on my next grow.
