Time Sensitive Hair Test Q's

I've read through a lot of posts.. easily 20 different ones and there was TONS and TONS of helpful information, and I feel confident I can pass, but as a faithful (and paranoid) smoker I do want to confirm my game plan with some other people and get advice.

I've been selected for a pre-employment drug screening which will be done with Quest Diagnostics, namely;
HR Drug Screening 19870N HAIR5

Considering my situation (see below) and that I'll have to use Jerry G's method (bleach and re-dye,) I'm prepared for most of this. Now, I know that using TW or Zydot is recommended to cleanse out the bleach and dye after each time, and again on the day of the test. My questions is; (1) Can I substitute Tide for Zydot/TW? (2a) If so, will I still need to purchase Zydot/TW at all as a precaution for the day of the test, or can I get away strictly with Tide? (2b) If not, how much volume/bottles will I need to purchase of Zydot? TW?

Now, to the hard facts.
I have been clean for about 24 days. Should be right at 30'ish time of the test. Maybe longer if God is on my side, because my memory sure isn't!
I've had (2) interviews for the job and have been offered and accepted the position.
My hair is easily 7-8 inches long and am strongly against cutting it, unless I absolutely have to as I'm trying to grow out to help the on-stage metal/rock persona.. seriously.
My natural hair color is light brown, I have fairly thick hair, and it's been dyed black, (not bleached though,) within the past 3 months.
I've been a casual smoker that has toked for the past 7 months off and on, roughly about 2-3x a week, and normally 2-3 hits when I smoked.

I am literally going to have to scrounge money together if I really have to purchase the TW and Zydot both considering I'll have to overnight them due to my circumstances.

One final note, because this is a very time sensitive issue, if you have valuable insight directly regarding the replacement of Tide or another product that can be used in place for TW/Zydot, please post quickly if you'd be so kind. If I can avoid having to purchase and pay the overnight shipping it would really help me out in the line of bills, but in the long run this job will be MUCH MORE beneficial financially so I'll do whatever it takes.

Update : I've been selected to do a urine test as well it looks like, but I think with the amount of time clean that I have and the fact I was not a heavy smoker I will be okay. Despite this I will be working out (sweating) like crazy, drinking plenty of water, using the dry sauna, and taking a lot of Vitamin B up until the test. I feel comfortable with the urine test.


Also, I think I got my procedure for using tide after bleach wrong, at least using tide to rinse the bleach out. The more I thought about it the more my idea made less sense.. I'd have to use it *after* the TW/Zydot... so I'm just going to be picking up a few packets of Zydot Ultra Cleanse later tonight... unless someone has a better suggestion! Also, is Zydot a replacement for using TW right after bleach? I've heard some people using only Zydot but am not sure if that's all I'll need. I know I can find a swimmer shampoo to use instead of TW if need be, but I'm curious and would rather save cash if it's not necessary to spend more :D
