Best Bulb

Hey guys I am after a bit of advice on which bulb is the best for seedling/veg stage. I have read quite a bit on it and it all seems complicated and I just dont understand it. I was wondering if you could give me info on what your favorite types are.

Fluorescent bulbs in the 5000-6500k (kelvin temp) range, work great for the first 3-4 weeks. They can be T-5's, T-8's or T-12's...(long tubes)...or CFL's...or...you can go HID (high intensity discharge bulbs)...Metal Halide or High Pressure Sodium....which will take you all the way to harvest...:thumbsup:

I use HO T5's the first 3 weeks & switch to 400 watt HID light...to get me to harvest...:smokin:

Thanks, I was looking at something like this 250W 8U CFL WITH 19500 Lumens's. Would this be any good?

Yeah mate that did help a lot, I am going to go for the T5 as I do have a problem with heat in the room.
