As you all probably know from my previous threads this is my first grow. I am not sure what to expect as far as progress. These chics are 9 days old and just wondering if they look ok or are they slow? Just looking for help.
thanx

Looking good for young ones, I started my grow young and yours are looking good. Like guys told me...since they are young be careful and do not over feed them. They look good. :)

Thanks for the tips fellas:) here are a few pics 4 days later, I added nutes and they really seem to have taken off, ppm is 960 with 240 of it being tap. These were started from seed and are 13 days old from sprout. are the nutes ok? should i bump them up? also my ppm never seems to change, is that right? All comments and feedback are welcome:D

Be very careful with nutes since they are still young. I am no expert on PPM levels but just go slow with the nutes at this time.

ppm probably is a lil high atm but watch the plants they will tell you. If the leaf tips start looking burnt then nutes to high and back it off some. Other than that looks real good.

I have run drip/dwc just to get them started, once they get an inch in the water I stop the drip. I believe most people stop using the drip after they are in the water as well.
Listen to tiny toon and also watch for leaf curl/clawing, another tell tale sign of too much nutes. I'd also drop the nutes down just a tad, using calmag?? If not you're tap water might just have enough in it, because their lookin good, gota be doin somethin right. I've always used r/o as theres other crap in tap you dont want, chlorine will evaporate but chloramine or maybe its some other chemical in tap thats no good for cannabis.

Most peeps that I know of stop the drip/hand water once roots find water since the top water is only to keep plant going till it finds water below. Try and keep water right up to bottom of pot untill you have a decent bunch of roots before thinking about dropping water level

O K so day 15 and here my paranoid ass goes again, not sure if the waves in the leaves indicate to much nutes and also 2 of the plants seem to be severely droopy i did turn my drippers up pretty high a couple days ago but slowed them down when i seen the droop (the 2 droopies r same strain). are these pics something to worry about or am i just trippin. I do plan to add some fresh phd water today just to be on the safe side:stoned:

still looks good from here. Dont go to crazy with the drippers, it takes a while for rockwool to dry out

Yes TT the Rapid Rooters were your suggestion to someone a while back so i ran with it:)
Ec converts to ppm somehow but not quite sure how, I am going by ppm and that is around 700 feeding them ff growbig, aquashield, liqud karma and superthrive, they seem to like it so far. Do you have any pics of yours?

Hello Ecobane,
this grow medium is the same as mine !
Rapid Rooters and Hydroton.
....we started a day apart and i use the
Haight Solid State PPF-800 LED Grow light.
My strain is predominantly Sativa / Indacaca !
This might explain the difference in leaf size....Yours very wide and very green.
Mine very narrow and not so green ! ?
...otherwise our pictures look the same !
Good Luck

Oh yeah, the watering is done by hand from the top.
Have done the Ebb & Flozzo but switched to hand feed from the top !
So, guess it's about even - hand fed and Ebba & Flo-za !
Also have cheated a little bit with the nutrients, at or below the legal dose !

Hello all:stoned:i was gone for a couple days and came back to some good growth and long ass roots, 3 of the 5 drippers are off. Today is day 20 from sprout but im still concerned about the top right plant as it seems to be slightly dry and wavy, also noticed a small hole with yellow rim in one of the leaves? should i foliar spray them? also my ppm still hasnt moved it seems to stay in the 900 range all the time? any comments welcome:)
