VENDING WITH HARBORSIDE
Here are some requirements for vending with us:
Please bring at least one full pound (454 grams) of flowers and/or 50 grams of concentrate with you on your first visit.
We work on a net terms basis to allow for lab testing with flowers and kief. At the time of purchase a firm payment date will be set, which is usually around 7-14 days from purchase. This payment date may sometimes be longer however, as testing dictates. You will be paid on your established payment date, whether your medicine has been sold or not.
Every flower and concentrate that we purchase is laboratory tested for THC, CBD, and CBN quantification, as well as for the presence of pathogenic molds. These results will be available to you when you come back to pick up the payment for your medicine.
All sales are contigent on mold test results. This means that if your medicine tests positive for pathogenic molds we must return it to you. This is only approximately 2% - 4% of our purchases.
Harborside has the highest standards for medicinal cannabis; please do not be discouraged if you do not sell us your medicine the first time. Many people try several times before succeeding, please keep coming back.

What are we looking for?
As a purchasing department in an ever-changing market, we choose not to suggest to the vendors what to grow. By the time you get the genetics, flower, cut, and cure, you may be looking at a very different market.
We are always looking for pure sativas, high grade indoor medicine, exotics (Thai, Cambodian, African, etc.), purples that are actually and thoroughly purple, high grade Kush, Sour Diesel, Chem Dawg, Strawberry Cough, Haze and the like.
Trim as tightly as possible, our patients like naked flowers. Pull out smaller buds and grade the pounds. Flowers smaller than a dime or a nickel should be pulled out, along with any not fully developed flowers. You will get more money per pound if these two rules are followed. We do purchase the smaller flowers separately for half of the price of the larger flowers.

Pricing:
Our pricing on the medicine we receive is based largely on the bag appeal of the medicine grown. This includes the visual appeal of the flowers as well as the quality of the nose/smell.
For indoor medicine you can expect $3,000 - $4,000 per pound.
We do buy outdoor medicine, but it must be very high quality outdoor, or one of the exotic strains. We do not sell as much outdoor medicine; therefore we do not buy as much.
For outdoor medicine you can expect $1,500 - $3,200 per pound.
Cold water concentrates range from $5 - $17.50 per gram, depending on the quality of the melt when touched with a flame.

What is Clean Green Certification?
Clean Green and Best Practices Certification is a garden inspection program. As an advisor, with over 40 years experience in agriculture, and a USDA "Organic" Certifier Chris Van Hook, founded the Clean Green Certification Program.
Clean Green is an alternative to the USDA's exclusion of medical cannabis growers from participating in the USDA "Organic" Certification Program. As a licensed California attorney, Chris follows procedures to ensure confidentiality of information provided to the purpose of Certification, even from law enforcement.
Medical cannabis patients now have the benefit of an independent, third party certification that the cannabis was grown, processed, handled, stored, transported, packaged, labeled, and distributed using standards and procedures that comply with national and international guidelines for organic and sustainable farming.
Like the USDA "Organic" Certification Program, Clean Green Certification includes both the growers and the collectives/cooperatives/dispensaries that distribute products labeled "Clean Green Certified." Certification includes both the grower and the distributor.
Please contact Chris Van Hook at (707) 464-6913 or by email at
[email protected] for more information.
What is Best Practices Certification?
Best Practices Certification is run with the same protocols of the Clean Green Program. The only difference between the two programs is the following: the Best Practices Certification Program does allow the limited use of synthetic fertilizers and inputs in a limited and responsible manner.
