What's up! Well, I am new to this forum and also to "growing". My pet spider has been recently successful with cultivating cubensis and is an avid Buddha smoker. During one of his frequent smoking sessions he noticed that a potted Austrian pine tree was in bad shape so it was moved outside. Within weeks I noticed 3 seedlings had sprouted, and then two more a few days later. My pet spider thought to himself, this is the results of my seed flinging habit that he had done since the beginning of his smoking career.

So the tree didn??t make it, it was cut down to a stump to make room for the new sprouts. So they were given a little left over Hesi root complex with regular tap water. They did well over the next few weeks and were thinned out to the best 3 growers. This piqued my interest in cultivation and that??s how I found this forum.

Unfortunately my spider had to guess the age of the sprouts because again this was accidental. He thinks the pot was placed outside in mid April so he thinks they sprouted around the first week of May. The three were growing well until it was discovered that something chopped the top off of one of them; so spider was left with 2.

Now my spider got serious about this project, he bought ferts, new organic soil, vermiculite, perlite and a nice cedar barrel. They were transplanted on July 3rd; one was about 2" and the other was 1.5". The organic soil consists of organic compost, 8qts of perlite, and 8qts of vermiculite. The ferts he used were left over Hesi root complex, a small amount of Mexican bat guano, sea bird guano, roses Alive! and sea magic; that was the regimen for a while and they were happy.

Over the next three weeks the barrel was placed on a set of wheels so it could be moved around accordingly, giving it around 9-10 hours of direct sun light; this caused amazing growth! On July 7th the taller grower (big mama) was 25.5? and by the 22th of July she was 45? and 43? wide!! The smaller grower (little sexy) on the 7th was 18? and 13? wide! On the 22nd she is 34? tall and about 23? wide! Because they are sharing a pot the side of little sexy that??s up against big mama is stunted a little, so she was bent away from her allowing room to grow. This is my first time, but I think this is some pretty good growth!

Also yesterday I picked up the full line of Hesi products and some water soluble phosphate. Here are some pictures, little sexy has shown considerable branching and is now 30? wide.
