Tiny baby seeds from Attitude Seeds Bank :(

Heyya, about a month ago I was excited to order my first seeds online...well Im no longer excited.

Attitude = Seedmans Seeds White Widow

When I ordered, I tried to order 4 packs of 10 seeds, but could only buy 3 of that type because they only had 3 in stock at that time...

Well, my fears came true ... when you buy the last of something in stock, you probably will get the 'bottom of the barrell" ... Well these seeds arrived, and they were tiny seeds, well 1 was kinda big, but the others were baby seeds...

So I started germination ...
Tried three styles incase something bad happens (like a hungry mouse) I wouldnt loose all 30 seeds, just some.

10 seeds in Wet towel ... 10 in Jiffy Pods ... and 10 in just plain old soil...

Well after 3 weeks only 1 of the 30 germinated...yup the big one ... what the hell ... it will probably be a male too !

I cracked opened a few and instead of being white inside, they were black...these seeds never had a chance to mature on the plant before going into the breeders packs.

So Wednesday my friends came over and smoked me up and gave me ordinary bag seeds, I have and tried germinating them, currently 7 of 10.

So I check on the Attitude site and find a note saying they cant respond to emails about germination or growing...maybe I should tell the my "souveneers" were too small...
looks like Im outta luck ...

I had all these plans to spend a bunch of money on several different strains ... My enthusiasm is gone ... I really cant afford to take another chance like this ...
unless some nice person from Attitude works out a deal with me on my next purchase...I doubt I will buy seeds online again:(

Sorry to hear about your experience...

I have ordered from the attitude 5 times now if I remember correctly... everytime 100% germ and 100% satisfaction.

Maybe email them and tell them what you said. I think they sell them as souveneers so you can "store them in case the laws change one day" or something like that.

Maybe if you tell them theres no way in hell they would be viable if the laws changed? I dont know but im sure you are not the only one to have a problem like that... maybe you can do some googling.

Ive gotten some small white seeds from the attitude but they worked just fine :(

Absolutely contact them. Obviously an issue at the breeder end, highly likely that yours weren't the only bad packets. I'll bet they set things right.

That can be nice, gotta love the variety. I'd probably limit my initial purchase of each strain to one packet, just to play it safe. Don't let a few bad seeds crush your goals. Contact Attitude, for sure.

Hmmmmm.... I ordered some 'beans' from there once and a similar thing happened to me.. when I did try to contact them I couldn't get through. Not very happy about it all, I now buy my seeds elsewhere...

That's a little better than Amsterdam Marijuana seed co. They lost the package because they did not put anything into the package along with the beans. Other places put an item into the package but these guys don't know or don't care to make it that secure.

They did however give me plenty of free excuses (everyone's fault except their own) and even accused me the customer of lying to get more seeds for free!!!!! Can you believe that?????? In fact it must happen so often that they even have a form letter!!! I said I was insulted and offended as I am not lying or trying to steal their product and wanted an appology........ NOTHING.

They did offer to send them again if I pay shipping with cash, actually double the original shipping. When I asked exactly how they will pack and ship...............

Yeah, NOTHING again.

The only thing Amsterdam Marijuana Seed co was able to do successfully was to take my $220. Everything else they failed.

Just an update ... I wrote an email to them a while back and got a responce a short time later ... they wanted me to ship the small seeds back and they would replace them ...
unfortunatly I eventually threw them all in soil and cant get them back ...and Im not paying more money to ship them back ... then wonder if they would ship the new ones back to me in stealth ... Some people wonder "whats the big deal" about ordering stuff online ... Well, long story short ... some of us have more to lose than others (Like Public Reputation)

Luckily I have a great friend that gave me a few feminized seeds and a bunch of good bag seeds... so Im not outta luck.

And I have attached a picture of one of the breeder packs, just so you all know Im not just an idiot anti Attitude troll.

ive grown plants from very tiny seeds before it doesnt matter the size of the seed at all...

but age is a diffrent thing,its not attitudes fault as they have no controll over a seed(s) its the breeder whose at fault and all breeders should give a shelf life of the seeds....but they dont so oh well

next time order seeds that are bought more than others that way you know your gonna get somewhat of a fresh stock.....

and attitude tells you if there out of stock and theres an option to choose to let you know when they are back in stock and are very fresh....

i ordered a fem seedman ww seed from attitude and it died 3 weeks after germanation....so im thinking ots more or less a breeders fault....

First bad experience with Attitude I got 5, 3 no sprout , 1 runt , 1 beautiful.

I just sucked it up as I know better, still 4 out of 5 with them life time and with a 10 seed freebie ahead of the game IMO and it's probably good to venture away.

I ordered from a place which was for me the first time. I stayed away from anyone in the Netherlands and went with a company in the UK. From what I have read this is a far btr bet than getting a pack from Amsterdam.
This is my first time doing anything indoors, or even growing the past 12 yrs, so I am quite new to the whole experience of having to pay for seeds.
Anyway, b4 ordering I did a bunch of reading which is why I ordered from where I did. BTW - Someone mention that site where you get the seeds for $29 - I have read nothing good about this site so be warned.
Point is (After all that) I ordered, and rcvd, 5 THC Bomb seeds and they included some Afgan seeds. Of these, I tried to germinate 3 THCs and 2 Afgans and they all sprouted. Of the 3 THCs I had 1 male and from the Afgans I am looking at 2 fems (also, the seeds weren't huge, but so far they did all produce).
Maybe I just got lucky, but it does pay to do some research on the places b4 ordering. 30 mins of reading might just save you some funds.
Anyway, just thought I'd toss that in.

One more thing that may be of interest to some of you. I am a MMJ patient dealing with multiple issues for 16 yrs, primarily pain (eventhough I've had an Intrathecal Pump surgery). Anyway, the THC Bomb strain is incredible for resolving many of my pain issues. If chronic pain is your debilitating issue I suggest you give the THC Bomb a try. I will be sticking with this strain for some time to come.

My experience with Attitude has been a positive one. They stealthed some beans to me over the holidays and gifted me 7 extra fem strains I really didn't expect. Well, I did expect five freebies but the other two came stapled to a card with a sexy girl on it that said, "Merry Christmas". They all look viable in their little plastic containers. Just checked each one to be sure before I posted this.

I have not germ'd any of them yet I'm too busy with other things ... but I'm planning to throw some fem auto low girls in to an Aerogarden my neighbor gave me for Christmas. :eek: Yeah, I know what your thinking and so am I. But I believe I can make a couple of tiny plants like that into a oz or so in a 3 light AG with some CFL's side lighting them if treated with my loving hands. It is for an experiment for another site that requested I do it, but when will it start? Only Mother Nature knows for sure and she sure can be a tight mouthed "witch" ... *giggles*

When you deal with Attitude don't use email. Call them. Those people are so kind and friendly over the phone. When it is put in black and white on paper (or email) it becomes a legal issue, when it is verbally communicated they can not use that legally in the USA unless both parties were aware of the conversation being recorded. etc.

Please update us when and if you get new beans. And if you haven't yet, do call them. Talk one on one. It will make a world of difference in your experience.

If you want to save your rep one may have to send out a fraud replacement seed order once in a while. I've had some mixed success with seed vendors but have yet to call them out to replace goods so they should break even. :hippy:

What I did was make another order with a note explaining what happen. They hit the states on the 5th so I hope there is a present in it...
