So I can either setup In spare bedroom or my basement. The basement would be ideal because its cool, well ventilated, and no one goes down there. Only problem is that is a basement so there's cobwebs and bugs.
The only thing the bedroom has on the basement is that its nice and clean. But its hot and no a/c in that room, what if someone comes to stay a night or two? Also I don't want to be drilling holes in my nice wood floors or ceiling.
So will the basement be the best bet, or will bugs be an issue? Its not like there all over the basement but there deffinitely hangin out in the rafters and all?
My seeds sprouted yesterday so I gotta get this up and going soon! Thanks for any and all help.

Oh and I plan on building a cabinet so it will be sealed and I could put panty hose over the intake and exhaust to prevent anything from crawling inside.

If you can do a little construction you can easily create a nice grow space in the basement or just use the cabinet and pest control. Better security. Easier environmental control.

I had the same deal here, so i chose 3 in the closet upstairs and 3 in the basement, the ones upstairs failed, mostly because of 92-97 degrees(no a/c), but the basement went perfect the temps was 69-75 with just fans and exhaust. so IMO save some time and money and go basement.

Yea that's what I'm thinking. I don't plan on framing up some walls down there but I will be putting up a nice 4x5x6 cab. I'd love to hear some more opinions too.
Thanks!

Its easier to controll temp and I heard that if keep temp about 72deg it should help with best. The space I have is a room with a huge window air condition. and to keep it cool I have to run my fan and filter 5 minutes every 2hr, I also havesome leakage that I am working on for the mean timeI have many LADYBUGS flying around and no pest problems (knock on wood) growing areoponics and plants are looking great. This web site has help me alot this is my frist grow indoors Ive grown once outdoors had 4 6ft plants until someone mentioned, have you been checking for pest. Went to go check and all buds where eating from inside out. I been doing a lot of studying and asking question on this site and everybody hasbeen help and to the tee with their answers. A goodshop vac to suck webs and keep it cool and always checking them. Good luck :stoned:

Some minimal 2 x 4 framing with plastic sheeting walls will go a long way.
