disc golf is a great sport. Nothing like getting blazed and going outside and throwing. Anyone else in here enjoy the great sport of disc golf?

I know all courses are different, but the best I have gotten on 9 holes is a 27. We just call that par around here.

Uh, it kind of depends on the course. Just as in "ball golf", not all holes on all courses are 3 par (where a nine hole par does=27).

I used to love to play years ago when it was just a stupid stoners game, but now it's too huge. Our beautiful course is packed now on weekends, and alot of the good tourney players get kind of an elitist thing going on, which is good for them I guess- fat, burned out athlenots need a "sport" too, lol.

But I love to go out there occasionally and just kind of putt around at my favorite holes- mid range putting is very relaxing. You can get in a rhythm and knock them down like freethrows. Our's is kind of secluded, alot of it is coursed through the woods, very nice.

i love discgolf. there r about 8 courses in my city. some of them are pretty hard. par 3 is how the pros play every hole. some are par 4 and 5 for amatuers. par is the best of gotten through 9 holes. i almost got an ace skipping it in on a par 3 276 footer.

it is a great sport to play on a nice day. smoke few bowls along the way. hittin the chains from a hundred feet or so makes you jump for joy.

here some cool videos from the 2004 usdgc
