Hi everyone,

New to the boards here and just had a few questions.

I have (7) 4-week flowering plants and for the last 2 weeks have noticed some of the lower fan leaves developing spots on the leaves. The spots have gone up the plants and now have been showing up towards the upper leaves on the bud nodes. The affected leaves have been dying off and I have trimmed off most dead ones.

My question is does this look live Mg deficiency or something different. Also, should I be pruning off the leaves that are starting to show problems?

Another couple questions I had - Is it normal for the leaves on some of the top buds to have a waxy/plastic plant look that curl downward like in the first pic? And is there any kind of "treat" I can give the plants to produce more trichomes (molasses, low humidity I know of)?

Thanks,

Its is normal for some leaves to die and drop off during flowering ... usualy starting at the bottom ... however the pics show that there is more than this ... I will let some one else reply about this ...

I have just bought a product from FoxFarms called Cha Ching ... its a high power essential oil producer ... its too early for me to see results ... so I cant recomend it just yet ... just letting you it exsists ... other companies sell an essential oils producers as well

essential oils = More crystals

Is it just me or does the very dark green color AND burnt leaf tips and older fan leaves cry out..... "Over fertilizing"!!!! ? If so I'd flush and back off.

Unrelated, from those long tooth pick like cola's I'd say they are also screaming for more light. Less light means they can handle less nutes, it all sort of goes together.

And are you monitoring Ph water, runoff and hence soil Ph? Lock out would cause similar symptoms.
