Im sure this question has been asked here before but I've had no luck finding the answer yet.

I was planning on using CFL's for veg. and 600w HPS for flower plus the same CFL's for side lighting.

I was wondering if I could go ahead and set it up with the HPS and use it like that the whole way through and just change the light cycle to 12/12? And if I did throw the HPS in there what would my results most likely be?(I understand it depends on a million other variables as well but assuming all other variables are perfect)

If anyone knows where I can find a previous thread on this topic, pleade direct me to it. Or just answer here:thumbsup:

Thanks a lot guys and girls!:rasta:

You can use an HPS for vegging, too. Just because it has more red doesn't mean it won't work. If that's what you have I suggest you use all of them all the time. It won't force your plants to flower unless you give them 12/12.
