Going to make a Cancom IRC chat - is this cool with the site?

I'm sure that many Cannabis.com members would like to have a common place to hang out and chat. I'm working on establishing a channel on Freenode for just that purpose. I just want to make sure the mods/admins of this site are cool with it before I open the channel up.

Thoughts? Concerns? Objections?
