I harvest when most of the trichs turn milky white and just a few turn amber. Haven't had any complaints yet.

Wait until about 60% of them are brown. Should be the right time. People harvest at slightly different times, you know?

The secret is in your trichomes! They will tell you when your plant has reached maturity and is ready for harvest. Keep a microscope or a jewelers loop handy. If your trichomes are clear, it is too early to pick. When they start to turn milky white you are close. Wait until you can see a slightly amber colored liquid in about one-third of the trichomes and then you are ready for harvest. But donā??t be afraid to let it go another week or two from that point.
