It changes everyday.......and will continue to do so........the overall point since this is all about the midterms.....is that CALIFORNIA is in play. Hawaii too.

Akaka and Inouye have been there forever and continue to bring home the bacon. They will be leaving their posts feet first. I believe you are refering to Charles Dejou, (R) who was elected by splitting the Dem vote in a mail in election. Well Ed Case (dem#2) will not run this Nov. Hanabusa (dem#1) will blow Dejou's doors off this Nov.
The governers race will be interesting. I am hoping that Abacrombie (an old haole) like me will win. If Abacrombie wins.... We will get rid of the Republican Taint that has held that post for 7 1/2 years.
You are right when you say it changes every day. A poll is merely a snapshot of a limited selection of voters at that time. Just by changing a word or two can change the results. While helpful.... they don't mean much.
