MMJ Patients first grow....Flowering stage

Hey everyone this is actually 420coach I made the move and lost my internet for a while. Forgot all passwords so I had to make a new profile......

My ladies are doing super...The two Chemdawgs I was treating for mites did spread to some of my other plants but im controlling there population by scrubbing the leafs with soapy water every other day.

This is day 12 of flowering and I can say things ae looking good.
Running 6 100w cfls,4 tube t5 cool white floros,2 tube t5 cool white floros and I just got a 250w MH Hydro farm setup im putting in the closet today or tomorrow.
Temps through the day stays at 82-86 degrees and the humidity stays at 50...
Im running a swamp cooler through the day to keep the heat down.

Blue cheese
Chocolope
Saltiva Bag-o-seed
Bubba Kush
Og Kush

ok I cant login anymore to my other account I guess im being sensored from something I commented on a while ago. anyways heres a few more pics.... the quality isnt all that great but I will have more....

Just went into the room and noticed my 250WATT MH blew out..... We had a couple of power outage last week that couldve did it to the bulb.... Lights went off and came rite back on..... This happend a few times...

Dam back to lowes I go..

Things are going swell except for the Og kush clone mother she has mites all over her now. the other plants have a few... The buds on them are getting biggier each day..... I dont have a cam so I had my buddy com by with his and now im waittting for him too email them.

I will send the pics hopefully today.

Oh I rewplaced the 250w MH and things has taken off.....

Are you flowering with only the blue spectrum in there and no red? Just the MH and cool white flouros? If so, why and what advantages if any do you experience from this? Good luck with getting rid of those mites.

Well yes I am for one I dont have the apropiate ventalation for the heat and plus I have plenty of friends who are using floros..... Do you have any suggestions that wont cause any heat..... Thanks for the input tikiroom:rasta:


Well day 29 of flowering an the ladies are doing well not so much for my mother Og K. I had to get rid of most of her big water leaves due to mites....I leaft a good portion on top but I think I will be pulling her up in a week or two..... im trying to post pics but there is something wrong with the names of the files.... I will try to attach another way. and sorry about the quality of um shity phone cam....

My main was question was are using a MH bulb instead of a HPS bulb for flower?
I understand heat issues, apparently to me what my body feels to be around seventy degrees is actually eighty. I guess I always have run hot though. lol
If you are running mh instead of hps because of heat, i thought from what i've read that hps ran a little cooler. Anyways just curious because i am currently on my first grow, and everything right now is a learning experience. I don't think I read this much in high school. :jointsmile:

Well I learned the HPS do send off alot of heat with the red spectrum... So for this first grow I went floros and MH. There doing pretty well the Chocolope has this citrus smell that is so inviting....I cant wait.

Well the ladies are looking nice still trying to control the mite issue but im handling it..... Heres a few pics im just wondering when should I harvest them.

You still have some time to go man, 8 weeks is the general rule of thumb for flowering period, about 60 days total, but when you are getting to about day 45-50 you be the judge by how many of the hairs have turned brown, unless you go out and buy yourself a handheld microscope, then you can judge on when to harvest by looking at the trichomes themselves. I don't have a microscope yet, so I judge by the hairs, usually when about 10% of them are brown I go ahead and begin to flush, clean phed water, then when about 75% are brown I harvest.

I use baking soda as ph up and some stuff I found at lowes for ponds and stuff for ph down. I ph all my water to ~6(I'm using the GH ph solution drops) after mixing nutes.

Hey thanks for the info... I knew about them turnning brow but I didn't know how much of the tricromes had too be brown... I by my girls water from da store so it's ph ready. I have mo nute burns so Im good. Thanks again for the info.:thumbsup:

Well I pulled up the O.G Kush, CHOCOLOPE and the Bubba Kush.... I still have the Blue cheese going and I noticed the Chemdawgs and other Blue Cheese outside are budding.
