well you could try giving them nutes like 1 time every week instead of every 3 weeks jsut make sure you water with plain water in between the feedings

I clone has a much smaller and weaker root system than a plant from seed. A plant from seed has a long tap root that keeps looking for water. The root span of a clone is much smaller.

Before heat wave clone roots support top growth. Now the roots can not get enough moisture to keep top alive.

Here's what I would do. Stop the ferts. Now. Wait til it gets cooler. Flush your area. This evening.

Get a large plastic jug. fill it with water. poke a small, SMALL!!! hole in the bottom. Put it at the base of your clone. Let it feed a constant flow of water to your roots (a drop a second is ok). Keep doing that until it gets cooler.

Good Luck

Don't touch anything until things get cooler. How do you plan to add pearlite and soil?

In vege state I just use Time release 14-14-14. Doesn't burn your plants, but that is just me. Others will swear by other products.

i was thinking of just lifting the plants out and mixing in some perlite and peat then place them back..they were put in the ground like a month ago so i think i can do it like a transplant...wat do u think of this? cuz rite now there is only soil and im told that the perlite and peat will help with the drainage and development of the roots. Im gonna look into some time release nutes too they sounds good
