Good Morning everyone,

So I have an indoor project which is housing one plant. The space is small (2x2). I'm debating between a 150 HPs or something cheaper going into flower. I know sixteen-twenty cfls would suffice but the better produce the better. Any cheaper 12/12 light to fit this space (<$50)? Granted, I'll get the hps soon but I'm willing to compromise for elect bill this season.

The 150W HPS is a good choice for flowering in a 2x2 space. It's what I started with a few yrs. ago and have since moved into a larger setup. The 150 doesn't get overly hot but you'll need a sm.exhaust fan. Check HydroWholesale's EBay store. They will ship free ona lot of their web stuff

Go to home depot and take a look at what they have for 100 watt cfl's. Not the 100 watt equivalent cfl's but an actual 100 watt input cfl. I noticed the last time I was there that they started to carry a 80 and 100 watt bent tube cfl about 18" for about 25 bucks or something. That was without ballast but I dont think they are fetching much for the ballast either. It's a socketed type of bulb and will require a special socket even though it looks like a normal one. I just checked their website and it doesn't look like it's listed online. I found them over by the flood light section. Go see if yours carry them...if I had found them starting out I would have certainly taken this advice.
