A man and a woman were formally charged today with selling forged medical marijuana doctor referral forms after police found their ad on Craigslist. ( I see these cheep pot doc ads all of the time on L.A.'s C.L.)
The two are identified as Stefan Zittel, 20, and Faith Shirley, 18. They each face multiple charges including forgery, attempt to influence a public servant and conspiracy to distribute marijuana.
Denver Police began the investigation in May to look into a Craigslist ad that offered medical marijuana doctor referral forms.
Shirley remains in custody of the Denver Detention Center, and her bond is set at $5,000.
Zittel has been released from custody on a $5,000 bond.
