I recently had my plants taken from a friends and partners house recently. Apparently he left a window open and when they were in SF someone stole my plants worth over 500 dollars but left the grow equipment. Has anyone on here had to call the police before and were they cooperative in this situation. I was advised to call them but I am sketchy I live in Solano County Nor Cal area and dont want to local trouble.

do you know who took them if not theres no point in doing anything about it,let the cops know then they just harass you,no ones answearing you because its a loss the most you can do is go to norml.com and read about your state they have contacts to call.

... But you can bet they would put your place on high rotation for police surveillance.
I found this Video on the topic ...

That video reminds me, anyone ever hear what ended up happening in that situation where Chubz got stopped at the Border Patrol checkpoint in San Diego and got his meds and cash confiscated???

Someone kicked in my door and got some and our local East Bay cops were super cool and wasn't interested in making an issue of my meds. I had plants in a tent at the time too.
I did show them my state card and my valid recommendation.
I could tell it wasn't the highest of their priorities though and I even knew who did it.

I was robbed and assaulted at gun point from my ex landlord's tweeker buddies while they stole my 25 plant med garden, because I refused to give the landlord half. The police did nothing, not even took a report. Now I'm stuck without a last name of the main perpetrator, but I do have $4500 in medical bills that I have to flip the bill for and without knowing the perp's last name I cannot sue/ press any charges. According to the cops, although the perp was a close friend of the landlord, the landlord is not liable for any damages, etc.

I think my lesson is learned I dont think I want to involve anyone with my problem. Leaving a paper trail could be bad and the MMJ laws could be changed again in the future.
