Posting safe?

I am wondering how safe it is for me in my situation to post threads, pix, video, or information about anything i may have a question about on here. my concern is the law. So far everything is going fine, i have gotten ALOT of usefull information form this website and honestly i dont know if i would have made it this far with out it. I am verry good at keeping secrets however im proud of what i have done and want some feed back. im just worried that i could get busted from putting pix and info on the net. I am behind a router so there is a fire wall and i will never post any personal info.

I'd say just use good judgement, and don't get too detailed with personal information regarding yourself.

Just take pics of individual plants..never the entire grow; be cool about saying numbers etc. and you are 100% safe.

Nothing is 100% safe. I worry about IP logging and a federal agency sniffing IPs as they log into the site. The fact that you are behind a firewall means nothing. Your outgoing IP address is determined by your ISP. They can trace that IP back to you if asked. It is definitely something that worries me and has kept me from posting images. I'm tempted but I just don't feel comfortable. That said, I am on here a lot giving and receiving advice. That in itself could be sufficient for unwanted attention.

Than all of you for the input, I never would have thoght not to post numbers and/or pics of the whole opperation.I am now wondering if thoes disclamer signatures ("all words posted by this author are works of fiction") are worth anything and also if anyone knows of any case of someone being investigated criminaly due to a social networking web site.

Those signatures won't stop an investigation or prosecution. Of course to prosecute they would need hard evidence but if they could tie you to a grow log it might serve as supporting evidence. I see no point. Not sure about the other question. Would be good to know the answer to that...

Man if ya look around as i think you have, no one has a field of plants growing. Most people have 3-4 plants just trying to learn and get a harvest. The gut behind the wall selling joints for 5 bucks should be the person who needs to worry. You dont put up your address and phone number, but a small pic of a few plants that shows the ground or blank wall is nothing. I believe if your this paranoid im not sure how you will finish, because we all get freaked now an then, but this site. Well any site. The are not out for the few plant guy, they should be out for dealers. There are to many of us and people really need to speak up anyway. There are more of us then known and thats just wrong.

I guess you could go to the post in question, click the "report abuse" icon and then ask the mods to remove it with an explanation. I can't see why they wouldn't do it once or twice but could see where they might object if it became a habit.

That would depend on where, in america.
If you are in a med-friendly state, and MJ enhances your quality of life, it's not that hard to get a doctors rec.

so heres the question: is there a normal residue that is found on the leafs or should they be smooth? i am new to this so i dont know if this is normal or what. it looks like verry fine sugar untill i rub some off and it seems to disolve, it smells verry organic, i know crystals are a god thing but this has ben thre for a while now and is increasing slightly on the new 12/12 schedule. the area stays dry and cool. never abobe 80F and in the dark it gets down to 73F min.

The fan leaf is usually smooth-ish.
The sugar leaf, should be, um, sugared.

Note that the distribution is relatively uniform.
If you see random patches of a powdered sugar looking substance on the big leaves, that would better describe Powdery Mildew.

Do not be afraid to post pics of the leaves when asking for help.
That will get you a real diagnosis
Possession of pot pics is still legal ya know :smokin:.

This fall theres gonna be a proposal voted on on Detroit to decriminalize personal posession altogether. This medical weed thing is a great step in the right direction, but its still bullshit that we can't grow it for use as a recreational substance. You can walk into the corner store and pick up a bottle of grain alcohol marketed for consumption (as opposed to cleaning engines, ect.). It'll make you piss people off and it can kill your brain and liver..and if you drink it often enough you won't be able to live without it....but thats ok, at least it doesn't make you laugh at stupid shit or get the munchies.

Hmmm, perhaps you can "see it on the edges", but, to these old eyes they look like normal, healthy, leaves.
I see a single white speck on the one.

thank you agean weezard!! im starting to worry less about the microscopic dust, it seems to be natural to the plant, when i rub the leaf on way it feals normal. the other way there is some resistance as many plants so maby i just have a strange strain, wahtever im over it. i finaly went out and got some FOX FARMS and threw out that MG bloom buster BS!! now im thinkink about molasses :stoned:. waht a differnce after just one watering with fox farms tiger bloom, this stuf rocks! now i wish i had done so much differently

Theres what 7 billion people on earth ? Every day about 200,000 more people are born and probably die of age.
I would see that the enforcers arent concerned about individual people who may have MJ card or live in a country where MJ is legal alltogether :).
They would have to go throught all the members of the board and check theyr viability from a database. unlikely :) so guys dont worry and be happy :) i feel pretty safe being just 1 person in 7 billion :D

Word of advice dont rub the plants leaves they have little hairs growing from them.
Other plants have a wax surface.
It is to protect against pests and other threats.
(tought rubbing mmj plant makes your fingers smell like sweet sweet delicious grass)

i know that nothing is safe, its a questioions of how safe...

n e ways...i went out and got some FOX FARMS tiger abloom and that made abig difference. i checked this morning and all females, i plucked 3 males a few dago and there were still a few that were not showing signs untill today so horay no more males!! HOWEVER i found some little white fuckers crawling around in the soil..neem oil is like 35$ at the grow shop around here so i got some SOUTHERN AG natural pyrethrin concentrate and mixed it in a spray bottle. i didnt notice the bugs untill after is waterd so had to just spray the soil and wait untill next watering to actualy flush the soil with this stuf. when i was there i also get some FOX FARMS big bloom just because i saw a huge difference with the tigetr bloom. Next watering will be only pyrethrin and then after that the girls will get both tigetr bloom and big bloom togeather and hopefully they will explode and them damn gnats will die.

this has become my grow log by the way. feal free to respond to the origonal "posting safe " questions but id rather some advice on what im doing, recomendations and waht not. just dont correct my spelling i know it sux.

Now, i am wondering how far apart the plants should be, they are quite bushy and, well verry close together, what are the down sides of this?

the flowering is comeing along ...slowly, i think because i was relocateing them to water them every time (to inspect the plants and clean the drip pan thinggy) , did not have the proper food and the had smoe bugs in the soil, three weeks now. should i trim any leafs at any time, i see these videos and articles that say it is good, then i read somewhere that is it not good? any recomendations?

This thread is titled "Posting Safe?" You should consider starting a new grow log within the grow log forum where it belongs ans where it will be seen by people looking at grow logs.
