I wrote to John Salazars office and than this time Bill Ritter and no rallies. I have a hard time in public. Why you getting ready to give me a shellacking?

Is this a joke? We just had legalization on the ballot and we will again in 2012. We have the most liberal MMJ laws in the country, and relatively permissive laws for recreational smokers. I would not at all agree that we've been moving backwards; In ten years we've made extraordinary progress.

Just busting your chops. They way we can move forward is voting these yahoos out of office. Then the politicians will see that we mean business.

Yeah I was just joking, ha ha ha....don't mind me.

While it's just my opinion, this wouldn't be the first unpopular thing I've said on here. Just seems to me some things changed this month that felt like a step back.:twocents:

You're right I didn't really think you were joking; I was surprised at your myopic view. I understand that some people think regulating dispensaries is a step backward (debatable; people believe the same thing about BP, after all!) but I think you are ignoring all the accomplishments made by groups like SAFER, NORML and ASA. We've been working hard for years, with great success. When you say our state is moving back not forward, I respectfully submit that you lack perspective regarding marijuana laws in other states, and lack the historical context our own state's marijuana activism.

I'm just a lowly housewife, I can't help it if my views are restricted.
