No we are not going to the doctor and getting a shot for some nasty STD we need to learn how to design, create and maintain a drip system. Now that the room downstairs is well underway with just a few things left to complete, I have been informed that a seedling/clone/veg room is next. Thats all well and good and POP an idea forms in my head with buckets running a recirculating drip setup. What I want is to root my clones and get them into there buckets to veg under a couple T5's until they are about 24" them into the flower room, which by them should be 3 600w instead of 2 600w and a 400w, and grow grow grow!!!
Please all input will be used in one way or another and please just make it simple. Drawings would be cool as hell and I promise not to laugh at anyone's artistic ability

I have used drippers, and have found them to plug up quite easily. I do know that some growers use filters to prevent this, but I have found a simpler and more maintenance free setup. Place your buckets where you want them along with your control bucket. Interconnect the buckets with tubing near the bottom so your control bucket can regulate your level of nutes. Place a pump at the bottom of the control bucket and run a half inch tube along the tops of the buckets, and end the 1/2 tubing into the last bucket, placing a valve very near the end of that tube, so that when the pump is turned on, the water will come out of the other end when that valve is open. tap a 1/4" tubing from the hose to each bucket, burying the end in a couple of inches of HYDOROTON. When they are all hooked up run the water pump and see how much water you are getting thru each 1/4" line. If you are not getting enough thru, just bring up the pressure by partially closing the valve at the end thereby pumping less water directly into the last bucket and bringing up the flow thru the 1/4 tubes. You can just let her rip 24/7, or use a timer and shut it off to your liking. I never used a timer though .... too complicated:).
This method will probably not work if you use other media besides hydroton. With using the pump you have constant water circulation, and aeration is achieved when the nutes run along the hydroton in the pot. Works like a charm.

Hi...My name is Tiny Toon..and I would like some Drawerings!!! Are you loking at my bum? Bum Looker...Chicky Monkey!!! LMFAO!
Hey man...the only drip system I mess with is the one I am using. I use a filter with my pumps and have no problems. Very simple to build with parts found at home depot. About $10 per tray.
I have posted my drawerings (Still LMFAO)...check them from the last grow.
