Hi Everybody!

I'm a doctor from California. I used to do medical cannabis evaluations in Los Angeles before moving here to Boston for a different job.

Although I've switched careers, I'm passionate about helping people learn more about cannabis as a medication.

...do we ever need people like you on the front lines!

Is there any chance of enticing you to move up here to Canada?

:D

...it's kinda like this:

Some doctors have been known to sign off on form B-1 or form B-2. But others, still believing the propaganda from the Dr&g W4rr!0rz, refuse, citing absolute bullshit (but without that sig, you're not getting medi.pot up here).

It took me five or six visits to my GP to get him to sign off. When he did, we still had a debate about 'proper dosage', and it was a bit o' arm-twisting to get him to put 3g/daily instead of 1g. Because he made a change on the original form (and initialled it), it took five months for HC to issue my papers, instead of the usual three.

But there are good doctors up here, too. We just need more of 'em.

And I know of a nice little dispensary that would LOVE to rent you some space... ;)

Not surprising. A physician's livelihood is entirely dependent on his medical license so I understand their apprehension, especially when laws are actively and strictly enforced.

The use of medical cannabis is never addressed in mainstream medical education so there are only a few doctors who take the time to learn about it.

I'm glad you got your papers all cleared up!
