View Full Version : Getting Meds?

So I finally got all my paperwork turned it.
It wasn't easy, between affording the Dr Apt, paying the license fee and TRYING (unsuccessfully) to find a grower. I was hoping to find a grower before I turned in my paperwork but I gave up, so I have someone to interview, though this whole process to me is nerve wracking! I am also considering growing for myself, but I don't have much of a green thumb!
Anyways, in the meantime, I know there are no dispensaries, how do I go about getting meds? Legally?
Thanks in advance for any help / suggestions!

If you are legal, here's what you do.
Keep reading our forums. We are dedicated medical growers and we will help you out in any way we can. Ask questions, we'll get your brown thumb turned into a green thumb in no time. :)

Thanks for the reply! Thats great that you are willing to give advice, etc. Because I'm clueless, and when I say I don't have a green thumb, I mean, I can't keep ivy alive!!
So I guess, where do I start? I have seen I can buy clones. Should I get clones to start? Seeds? Whats the best way to get myself off the ground. I own my home and have the ability to grow inside or outside, is one easier than the other? Are these dumb questions?
Thank you for any help you can provide me.

Forgive me for being slow to reply.
Start with clones, as this is the easiest way to ensure females, and this gives you some practice.
Start with soil. learn how nature does it, then apply that knowledge to hydroponics. Get yourself a decent starter light, a 250w MH lamp can be had for a decent price.
For your first run, work with light nutrients so you don't run much of a risk of over-fert. Also obtain a pH testing and correction kit for your water.
If you have any questions, feel free to hit me up on any of my IM names, or catch me on gmail, techkitsune.

Hi im Kevin, and I just got my card this past sat. I was informed to register with normal and go from there but three days later im am still in the dark on how to get meds. Can anyone advise me on what I need to do next in finding a caregiver, meds, or growers. Please!!! All help is appreciated. Its odd because I just moved up here fROM Cali and out there you just go to dispenser clinics, out here is much more confusing!! Please let me know where to start!!''
