I just got through topping my little plants...one's a little over a foot tall and the other is very short but the same age...I tried to go by the FIM method; basically, I shaved the new leaves out of the topmost node and I left the node there. I just read that it can start a lot of new growth in new branches. Attached is a picture of the plants before topping.

Any ideas on why they may have stopped growing? I know the little one got stunted from transferring it into that pot (it was in a cup). But they haven't grown much as far as height for the past week. They are growing new leaves at the nodes.

No, I mean, they stopped growing for a week or so before I ever even pruned them... I'm hoping that the pruning will be what gets them going...

if thats where you grow them at it doesnt look like hardly enough light, the little one is completly in the shade.
