LED Section?

We've got a bunch of good LED growers in this board, I am of the firm belief that this board would benefit from an LED Grow section, so people with LED questions can go straight there and those with expert knowledge may help.

It would also go a long way to proving that LED is here for prime-time.

I'm not sure but I don't think any other board has a dedicated LED section, I've seen a Low-Intensity section on another forum but that's a mix of CFL/T12/PL-L/etc and LED has progressed so far that it no longer belonged in that categorization.

I agree. I am getting 2 LED's and will begin to experiment with them and would love a quick direct place to discuss results and experience. I am still going to use my 430w but would love to phase it out eventually if results allow it.

Weezard: Got your PM - I'm banned from ICMAG - They don't take kindly to people that come in going "I custom-specced an LED panel, let's see how it works compared to everything else," especially when that person (me) is the biggest competitor to everybody else with real worldwide contracts.

That's probably one of the rudest sites I've ever been to, and I've been to a bunch.

Rife with truculent trolls and the fools that joust with them.
Almost got banned myself.
For pointing out an unwelcome fact or two.

The whole site generally has a lower IQ than here, but there are some fine minds lurking.
Most of the intelligent discussion goes on underground, in da PMs.

They did finally rein-in the mad vendor.

When I do find some pearls, I trot them on over here for "discussion enrichment.":D

Never know, maybe management will take a look at that forum plus a few others that have been mentioned.

As for other sites, lets not bash them here. I'd hope that they would show us the same respect.
