Bottom line is U$rael does not have enough resources or money left to fight a war with Iran. Iran is all powered up and not a slave to one country just like the U.S. is to Israel.

Why are a few people on here being ignorant that Israel has blackmailed the U.S. on several occasions? Does not make any sense. Island Born's loyalty to the U.S. should be questioned. He ignored everything posted that evidence points out that Israel is not our friend.

This country has betrayed its citizens and I will laugh watching the American troops trying their hardest to get through the Persian terrain. They will suffer and face the consequences.

20/06/2010 Iranian Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi has rejected the recent US accusations that Tehran's missile is a threat to Europe, urging that the country's missile capability serves defensive purposes. "The Islamic Republic of Iran's missile capability has been designed and created for defending the country against military aggressions and not threatening any other country ", Vadidi said on Saturday.

Vahidi was responding to accusations by US Defense Secretary Robert Gates on Thursday that Iran could attack Europe with "scores or hundreds" of missiles.

The Iranian official further said that the US's anti-Iran propaganda is aimed at expanding US dominance over Europe, finding an excuse to avoid dismantlement of the nuclear arms stationed in Europe and imposing pressure on Russia.

Vahidi also called on Russia not to be fooled by the United States' psychological warfare and deceitful measures. "They (Americans) have even victimized their closest allies for the sake of their own illegitimate interests and hegemony," Vahidi said.

Despite Iran's efforts to solve the nuclear issue, which was manifested in Tehran Declaration, the United Nations Security Council gave in to US pressures in the early June and adopted its fourth round of sanctions against the Islamic republic. The Security Council's move was a blow to months of diplomacy on parts of the Islamic republic and a number of the council's non-permanent members like Brazil and Turkey.

The resolution 1929 came a few days after Iran, Brazil and Turkey reached an agreement which would see Tehran shipping 1200kg of its low-enriched uranium to Turkey for further enrichment.

Given his take in these forums, I'm starting to think he isn't an American at all. He seems to lack any ability to deal with facts and only lobs incendiaries meant to stir up anti Arab / Muslim anger. Now whose interests does that serve? Let's see his birth certificate... which of course would only prove that he is betraying his country to serve a foreign master. Idiotic crap like this demonstrates that he has no experience with real conflict, with real suffering, or with real poverty (Mexican wife and all).

This country has betrayed its citizens and I will laugh watching the American troops trying their hardest to get through the Persian terrain. They will suffer and face the consequences.

Well... that's not exactly how I would put it. I'm not sure I will be laughing. That will be horrific for many many people for a long time to come (mostly women and children as was the case in Gaza). To be sure, Iran would take a beating in any such confrontation but you can be sure they would bloody us pretty good as well. I just don't believe Obama would betray his public position taken during the election cycle. OK he has let us down on many many issues but this would be catastrophic.

You dont believe Obama will betray his public position? Are you serious? The dude says he will do one thing one day and does the total opposite the next.....its hilarious....you can take bets on it in Vegas now. Im still laughing about the Dems and Obama patting themselves on their backs for the "spending freeze" they announced a year ago.

Man....sorry dude.....all the video the mad mullahs in Tehran couldnt control that got out shows the revolutionary gaurds getting their ass's whooped in the streets by students and women......

C'mon bigots......what else ya'll got? Ya'll are LOSING the ideological war here in the states. Obama's policies are more unpopular everyday all over the world. It was funny watching the Palestinians burning effigies of Bush one day and then Obama the next......

Anybody watch N. Korea get bitch slapped at the World Cup? I wonder if Kim Jong Wong Foo will torture the team when they get home like Saddam did and make em kick concrete balls till their feet are broken?

So Bigsby......did you not even read what was posted in the top thread? Just throw your knee jerk thoughts out there without reading any material posted before? Interesting. It helps to read through things before ya post.

Read carefully.....at the top....11 US NAVY SHIPS AND 1 ISRAELI WARSHIP QUIETLY SAIL THROUGH sUEZ. And yes.....it is a very interesting development.

You can't even keep your threads straight. You are referring to a completely different thread where you said: (http://boards.cannabis.com/politics/186457-israel-preparing-repeat-marmara-scenario-lebanon-respond.html)

If the boats choose to willfully attempt to run the blockade....they will be stopped, searched, and the folks onboard will be detained. The US Navy will assist this time also. Story over.

To which I said, Really? Very interesting. Please provide details because I had not heard that the US will assist with boarding boats trying to run the blockade. That is news to me. I would love more information as I have not seen that reported anywhere. I realize documenting your claims is quite difficult. Please prove me wrong.

Try to keep your posts straight and don't try to confuse readers by cross posting threads like this. It's blatantly dishonest. You have achieved a new low which is saying something.

they are gonna assist in the blockade and confront any other vessels......of course the israeli commandos & Delta onboard the Israeli Navy Vessel will do the boarding with pen cameras and assault rifles.

Right you said that before. And I'm genuinely interested because I haven't seen it reported. I'm intrigued because this would make us party to the blockade unless it comes within a wider, internationally accepted agreement on importation of goods to Gaza. I am doubtful that we would take such a step but I don't rule anything out when it comes to our blind support for Israel. I'm not riding you here. You might actually have something to add to the conversation. I'm just asking for a citation of some sort - you know, something to back up your words.

You quoted me from a different thread on US participation in the blockade and tried to pass it off as a comment that I made in this thread about US / Israel ships transiting the Suez. If you want to claim that it was a mistake then say so. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt as I have done before. In the absence of a statement to this effect I have to call bullshit on you. As usual, just saying it doesn't make it so.

its no coincidence 11 american warships followed 3000 yards by an Israeli warship passed through the Suez at the exact same time......following last weeks weak new sanctions against Iran. Maybe I just find it odd anyone even guessed for a second that we wouldn't back Israel over Hamas and their flotilla party boats.

So you took my unrelated comments from a different thread and posted them in this thread in an effort to, what, demonstrate that I was not adequately reading your posts? Really? That's Orwellian. Your writing is so scant and so pathetic that it is often difficult to follow, but I do read what you write. Otherwise I would not have caught you lifting my words from an unrelated thread. Your position is so bankrupt and so poorly argued that this kind of behavior doesn't surprise me. Either you did it willfully in an effort score some cheap point (my guess) or your did it by accident because you don't adhere to your own maxim (it means principle or proposition) to "read through things before ya post" and you are too pathetic or embarrassed to admit the error. Let us know what really happened with this thread. I'll accept your answer no matter what explanation ya come up with.

Concerning the above attempt to explain your behavior, your logic is so half-assed that it is hardly worth deconstructing. But let's try if only because it's fun. So, according to you, because US and Israeli war ships transited the Suez together (holding hands across 3,000 yards if you like), it follows that the US government is now a participant in the illegal collective punishment of nearly 2 million people in Gaza, and that the US Navy will assist as foreign flagged vessels traveling in international waters are "stopped, searched, and the folks onboard detained"? Wow. Dude that is a long, long walk. How do you get from here to there? I guess you got the geography pretty much right (and yes you can see Saudi from the Sinai but not Russia). I'm thinking you could have a career as Glen Beck's chief strategist. You really should put the bong down for a few minutes.
