Is organic supersoil or organic miricle grow soil decent for indoor plants? If not what is a good one to buy?

Thanks

Some people like to knock the Miracle grow soil but ive used it before and had good results. Just got easy on the nutrients, moniter your PH, and you will be fine. You can check your PH with a PH tester you can buy at any Home depot, Lowes, McLendons(for all you washington folks), or other hardware store. You can find one pretty cheap to(10$) but your going to need one.

I dont like texture of MG soil personally, I prefer more perlite.

MG works good. I used MG potting mix with MG perlite added. Worked great... like dru said easy on the nutes at first.

Ive also used Scotts premium potting mix with added MG perlite. Also did a great job...

THank you. Question, how much perlite do you mix in?

2 parts Agway manure humus to 1 part perlite. Both can be had at agway for little $$. Good pH buffered soil. Add nutes and you're away.

I have no problem with MG soil other than i get more gnats than I care for. I use FF Ocean Forest, but it is a bit more $$ than MG. To each his own.

that's because the stores leave the bags out in the open...the gnats lay their eggs
