I moved my 2 foot plant to 24 hour light 3 days ago to 12/12 under my floros.

Intent to force flower. However today a friend gave me a very nice Blueberry hybrid clone. Its about 5 inchs or so and in great shape. He grows for a coop and knows what he is doing.

So my dilema is I only have my 6 t8 mixed floro's (going to order my 250mh kit tonight or 400 mh)

So my plan has only been on 1 plant and I now have 2. in fact I may get another clone. The max plants I want to grow at one time is 3.

I dont want to flower the clone so small. My question is can I go back to 24 hours lights to get my clone to at least a foot (isnt that min for flower?) by that time my bigger plant will most likely be about 2 and a half to 3 feet. Then go back to 12/12. I have read in my book some growers do this to see sex and then go back to veg for a couple more weeks. My big plant is still only with the 2 pistols. No sign of preflowers yet.

Thanks.

Yes you can go back to a 24hr light cycle. hopefully they haven't been under a 12/12 for more than a week or 2. you may experience a slow down in growth for a week or 2 when you switch the light cycle.
Also, if you have mother(your clone in this case), just give it 24hrs, let is grow and take cuttings from the guaranteed mother plant(your clone).

yea u can itll just take a weekor2 for the plant to go back to veg. i once took a couple flowering clones after about a month of flowering some didnt make it but most did. it took forever to revert back to veg b ut it was fine after that. u might see some funky new leaves if the plant was far enough into flower.

It has only been switched to 24 hours for 3 nights now. I will switch back to24 hours tonight.

I am a little confused with what you mean by taking cuttings off the very small clone>? Please expand?

Oh and the clone is Blueberry Rhino. I understand it only has a 60 day flowering. This clone has a date of 5/21 on it. So it appears it has been cloned a month ago. Roots are filling the small cup its in. He told me not to transplant for 2 days getting it to my home for it to get used to humidity or something>?

I also see its a small plant at maturity. So maybe I do want to put it into flower soon>? Its only like 4 to 5 inches now. When would be right time to put clone and other bigger plant back into flower? I will take pic.

Here is description of the clone,

Thanks again.

Blue Rhino is the result of careful selection with the aim of producing one of the most exquisite and powerful hybrid that breeders want. This is a plant with a special look, with a huge central cola, developing a number of leaves very limited, although large. The big difference between the varieties involved in the cross has resulted in an aroma that is the fusion of the purest Indica aromas, including the most delicious varieties of soft fruit such as blueberry and black currant. The taste is unique, with notes of noble wood, spices and soft fruits. Medicinal properties are very notable due to the incredible content of CBD. It is recommended to use a well sized pot. If grown outside and well exposed to the sun, Blue Rhino will explode in all its genetic potential, producing the largest buds of whole the garden.
