I grow some really good herb it looks killer and gets me rreally medicated but one thing I just cannot get right is the smell and taste.
SO my question is how the heck do I get my herb to smell and taste like it looks? I flush my last 3 weeks of my cycle and hang dry for one week or longer depending and I also cure in jars for about 3 weeks or so. :rastasmoke:

Make sure you aren't letting your product get to dry before trimming, not saying you are, just a thought. I like to do my initial curing in 1 gallon ziplocks about half full for the first few days.
Most of the first 24 hours it is still moist enough that I keep the top open but not widely. After I begin sealing the tops I will open them 5 or 6 times the first day, puffing them with air, and gently shifting the bud about within the bag. Over the next few days I will check them less and less and combine them to a fullness of about 2/3rds.
Somewhere around the third or forth day you should be able to go down to one or two airings a day. What I am smelling for is that green smell that occurs when the product is enclosed and moisture condenses in a manner that reminds one of wet greenery. When I wake up and take that first good whiff in the morning if all I smell is yummy bud goodness, and no greenness I begin storing my zip-locks in vacuum sealed food saver bags. At that point I will check them once the next day then. If still no green smell then I go to a check it every 3 to 5 days routine.

This time the medicine was almost completly dry because I got so busy I couldnt trim in time. But thanks for the advice. You use plastic bags though huh? I was always told to use jars because of the reaction of platic bags or jars to the moisture in the medicine. You do this everytime and your medicine smells and taste as good as it looks?:rasta:

It works....you can use plastic bags or jars; I use paper grocery bags becuase they breath some of the moisture out.
I've used all these methods side by side and it makes absolutely no difference what you use, just make sure you are on top of ventilating the buds frequently until they are dried and cured properly.
It may smell "green" the first few days, but the kind smell will come if you have cured properly
