For any skeptics, I am a conditioned marijuana user. For over a year I have been using marijuana, always in good spirits. However, recently I have been experiencing what can be said as an extended marijuana hangover. My eyes have been experiencing the same sensation as when I was extremely stoned, a few days ago. What I mean by this is not the dry-eye sensation, but rather the 'detachment of reality' or 'distorted viewing' sensations. Also, my coordination has been just as afflicted it seems, as well as loss of feeling of all limbs.

I graduated from high school on Friday of last week, and have been smoking heavily at grad parties and the such ever since. Prior to this I haven't smoked for over a half-year, but still I kept a few days in between my smoking binges for precaution of low tolerance. On Saturday I got the highest I've ever been, which was an incredible experience, to say the least. And on Tuesday I topped that experience, by smoking 5 grams of Fruity Pebbles alone- a feat which I am still feeling to this day.

Being accustomed to the after effects and side effects of marijuana, I am puzzled as to why these sensations are appearing. After searching the internet for answers, a few times the same basic subject was brought up- once on this forum- about the feeling of dizziness and detachment days after marijuana use. Replies to the inquiry stated that over time the feelings will diminish. I will not deny this is true.

What I am experiencing is not a panic attack, food poisoning, or any other emotional or physical anxiety- but rather a possible side effect of smoking far too much in a small amount of time. I figure that I should wait until this situation clears before proceeding smoking again- any logical person would assume the same, however, has anyone else experienced this before?

My inquiry is not asking for a solution to the problem, however it is an intriguing experience that I will not forget. Has anyone else experienced it?

No,but it doesnt take much for me to get ripped at one time, sometimes when its really good,I can almost stay high most of the day at least till evening on one bowl. Maybe you just had a stronger type than usual?Sometimes on a really strong strain I too can feel like im still stoned when I wake up the next day, thats about the extent I can think of right now.:jointsmile:

I don't recall ever having those symptoms. I have noticed that my balance seems to subtly improve if I quit for awhile.

the heat of our bodies and the summer are causing us to use more of the stored energy in our cells, thus the stored thc is being released slowly, and if you smoke much, more will be released.

especially with dank

thats my story and im sticking to it.

i have had similar symptoms to these. I wouldn't have smoked but i would snap into this dazed state where i was unbalanced and clumsy. My solution i just stopped smoking till i stopped getting the symptoms, it happened for around a week and haven't had it since, i also had used cannabis for around a year when it happened.

Hey man, I've felt these same symptoms you're describing for some time now. I've also scoured the internet trying to find some info on it, but so far you're all I found. I'm not sure when it started for me, but it's been quite a while that I've had these odd sensations. I used to smoke about 3-4 times a week and recently I've slowed down to see if it helped, but it hasen't. I've been weed free for about a month so I guess all I do now is wait.
Let me know if you've made any progress.

You sure your not smoking something laced? Ive been smoking for 33 yrs and never felt like that unless somebody put something else in the weed.
