hello all, i currently am a grower for a dispensary in colorado, but the place im workin for is being sold, and i dont know if the new owners have there own growers and want to continue to use my services. i currently have my own exclusive strains going, and have 15 more strains i could start...as well as next month i will have over 40 more of very highly potent cannabis strains i can start, i also have a collection of males from each strain i start set aside just in case ya want to breed or mix and match...i keep males because it seems seed companies are now gettin greedy and only offering feminized seeds, but that is another subject matter we can discuss at our leisure.
i was told to come here to this sites forum in the hopes that maybe somone in colorado knows a dispensary that may need a journyman grower/breeder.
fingers crossed

Hey crate, welcome. Biggest issue you're likely to find is that centers will be looking for growers that have an industrial space already. If they have the space, they'll likely lowball you on your harvest. Good luck to you and stop by any time to see us.

Hello crate!
I just started posting on this forum a few days ago as well. The people really know their stuff here, I'm learning a lot.
This is for everyone, what exactly is a co-op and could that help out growers here in anyway?

1284 pretty much destroys any ability for people to come together as a co-op. Two caregivers can't come together, two dispensaries can't come together. I asked Matt Brown about patients selling to patients and all he said was that if a cop wanted to be a dick about it, they might go after you.

But it doesn't say patients can't come together? I need legal advice, an attorney if you will. hummm...

I asked Matt Brown
You should have slapped him in the face. I wouldn't believe a word that comes from that snake.

That's one way to take care of a bitch, female dog that is..
The dispensaries are just dieing to see patient to patient sales go illegal along with caregiver to patient. Then they'll be able to sell the patients whatever junk they can produce while only having to compete with the garbage that the dispensary down the street grows. :D Somehow I don't think the 100,000 patients are going to put up with dispensary weed or prices. I sure as hell won't. :stoned:

i really dont know how much lowballin anyone can do to me...i do what they call tree farming...i get one pound from each plant...sativa or indica...usually people are overwhelmed by my yield and cant handle the weight...lol...
i have experimented with spectrum lighting using different types of lights...and it has worked out great.... i have a technique that will stretch an auto flower to a bigger height before it goes into "self bud" mode...and also a technique to successfuly clone feminised plants and able to breed them back to produce a healthy viable seed stock...
and the strains i got are new from breeders in ontario and montreal...i got a sativa that is one of the most potent sativas i have ever smoked...it comes from montreal, and an indica that my friends say isnt even fun to smoke cause its so potent....lol and that one comes from southern ontario...thats only 2 of the 20 strains i have on hand....its a shame the people of colorado may not get to experience the crosses i have in the seed drawer...next month i will have 40 more different strains from new breeders ..one from japan..and another breeder from south africa...and some mad scientists in the cleveland area that has 10 strains of his own...
ill keep on searchin...

Yep--that's just it--dispensory prices will go up--and quality will go down. 100K patients in this state--it's not hard to see where this goes. They'll tire of it--and will start looking for small-time caregivers--(the real green thumbs--who consistently grow quality--in all of this.)

Ditto on finding a caregiver. I'm becoming displeased with the prices in dispensaries as I'm unemployed and money is tight. I ran into my old underground provider the other day and his prices were well under dispensaries. 65 a qrtr for what appeared to be decent product. I was tempted but had just restocked and my monthly allowance was gone.
I need a caregiver with quality indica, at a price I can afford. I go through just over an eighth but less then a quarter a month. (only user in the house) Tried going the CL route early on, but ended up meeting to many flakes. Combine that with a reluctance to share personal/medical info and I never found a comfort zone. Wish there were a verifiable/reliable listing for CG's who are looking for patients.
I keep winding my ass and scratching my watch while wondering how all this is going to shake out.
I want to believe there's caring patient-centric providers around. How does an abashed, reserved, and private person find a caregiver of quality?

Caregivers will be able to add their name to the registry if they are looking for patients, but that's probably a long way off.

SORRY BRO YOU CAN'T DO THAT HERE....you have to do that on your own the mods won't allow you to look for patients here.most here are growers anyways.so you will have to do like the rest of us.be very careful tho make sure they are who they say they are and all of that.leo lurks everywhere now days and i believe even more so now that this bs bill passed.
to stay below board you can have up to 5 patients.but you can only deal with those 5 only"to be legal"you can't sell your extras to anyone.so growing big you will be sitting on alot which is "iilegal" see what they have done?the shops i believe are just as much to blame as romer/matt brown.this is cutting everyone out of the loop except them.

roflmmfao.well being that this bill has made caregivers drop alot of patients i don't think it will be to hard for anyone to find the 5 patient cap they can grow for.no need to put your name on a marked list.....

yea, if you are a private caregiver, you better have a real job..
Colorado is the wrong place to move to "make it" on mmj, at least it is now. If you want a little more freedom to be a patient, you are best off fighting for it at home.
our legislators here in Colorado despise us patients, and pro-Cannabis people in general.

What is your plant count? If you have over a 6 you shouldnt be paying for meds anyway. I cant PM yet but let me know if you would like to talk.

You guys sound very worried. The medical thing is going to be the flavor of the past real soon, and the new flavor will be real legalization and no one give a **** back to that style. Medical or recreational, it's really the same. Check out our marijuana photos, forum, and news:

There are NO PM's on this site. I'm over 500 posts and still can't PM.
Oddly it says it's illegal for you to sell product to your "patients" for a profit. Yet NOTHING says your patients can't sell it to OTHER patients for a profit.
Sounds like they actually WANTED growers to give it to patients to sell it FOR them!:wtf:

hello to all.... i make oils, hash, and tinctures for those who do not like to smoke...but with getting 10 to 16 ounces per plant i dont need alot of plants to care for patients...here is a pic of a Jamaican Grape that gave me 14 ounces dried bud..i made a tincture out of this for a person who suffered from depression, and it gave him to spark to get out of the house...i picked it at a 60/40 clear to cloudy ratio, for a more euphoric, heady high...she was 3 1/2 feet around and 4 feet tall...not bad for compacting a large Sativa eh?...and with doing large plants allows me to do more strains instead of quantity of plants i do various quality plants... i'm not looking to get rich from this, i have an income...im looking to better the oil quality to cure ailments...

However, after 50 post, (or less, ah dunno for sure), you will be able to post picture albums and folks can comment on your pictures.
You may then reply to those comments.;)
Observing all forum rules of course, (we no wanna lose album comments too.)

i hope today finds all well...
we got the problem fixed, i retained a great legal councel, and now have met up with some like-minded people who want me to be their caregiver, i now know what part of the State i need to be in, so i will be moving forward, legaly and most of all able to help some people. i want to thank the people here who were helpful, and informative...
so in a couple months i will be able to post pics of my clients garden,
thanx
