I tested last thursday, how many business days in you guys experiance has it been between between taking the test and hearing from the employer? I assume I'm only likely to hear from the employer if its bad news, so right now Im feelin like 2 days in is a good sign.

Been a week now and havent heard a word. I got a sheet in the mail that has my start date an all that in it, but im about 99% sure that it would have been sent out before they got the results, as it says right in the page that the offer is pending the results of my background test and UA.
Thinkin that perhaps i'll call up HR this week sometime and come up with some kind of bogus question to ask just to feel them out.
What do you guys think? A week an no word, no news is good news?

Since you have a start date, just show up for work and proceed with your duties. Dont expect any word or a ticker-tape parade for you passing because you are expected by the employer to be a "clean" person.
Never inquire about the test results! A "clean" person would never do this because theres no worry or reason to do so. You do want to be viewed as a "clean" person, is that correct?

Thats right. You would have to be notified if there were any problems with your urine sample.
