Brought my elderly mother in to see the doctor at PCC a few weeks ago, and besides the experience with the doctor we were not very impressed. First off, we ended up waiting about two and a half hours past our appointment time before we were even seen by the doctor. During this time we were able to take in alot of what this place was all about. The staff seemed disorganized and stressed out, and at one point I saw what I can only assume was the manager scream at one of his register operators for something to do with breaks. The same guy then left the shop with a bong in tow while there were people waiting to be seen, he came back with several of his attendents a half hour later obviously smoked out of their mind. I guess they're getting high out behind the shop or something. The visit with the doctor was extremely informative, and we quickly learned that my mother would be best served using edbiles for her pain, and were confident that we would find what we were looking for in the shop once we were done with the doctor. To our dismay not only were they out of edibles, but the kid behind the counter was too high to even communicate. We just left, I'd prefer not to have to buy medicine from people who are obviously over medicated.

Not a professional club, and I would not recommend anyone going there.

Dear Denver Blues Man,

We extend our sincerest apologies to you and your mother. We appreciate your feedback and are grateful for your insight on ways we can improve.

Dr. Shackelford is a wonderful independent doctor who truly cares for his patients. For evaluations he takes the time needed for each individual person, however, we understand this is no excuse for the time you had to wait.

Thank you for helping us have insight on what needs improvement. We have addressed your grievances with our staff and have set standards and policies in place to ensure this does not happen again.

Our edible medicines do sell out very quickly. Part of the reason is that we analytically test our edibles for quality control and the cannabinoid percentage content. We apologize that we did not have any edibles in stock when you and your mother visited, most days this is not the case.

We would like to offer you and your mother a free gift for your inconvenience. We strive for a professional atmosphere with superior customer service, where a patient can feel at home. We would be very grateful for the opportunity to reintroduce ourselves, and demonstrate to you and your mother how your experience is the exception and not the rule.

We truly hope you and your mother are able to visit us again, as we would like to make up for any discomfort you experienced.

Sincerely,

Patient's Choice of Colorado

He is not an outsider in our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favor by serving him. He is doing us a favor by giving us an opportunity to do so." ~ Gandhi

Laughable... Laying it on a little thick there, eh Jim?

I've had to wait up to 30 minutes or so the few times I came in for meds... Mostly while they were preoccupied sucking up to some vendor. Meds were hit and miss... Sometimes good, sometimes poorly flushed and/or moldy.:(

I've since found greener pastures.

I ended up going back to Patients Choice earlier this week, because I needed to find some tincture, and had remembered they carried some. There was no wait this time, and the staff seemed to have things together. The girl up front was friendly, and courteous. I had a lot of questions and the young man behind the counter was extremely friendly and very informative. His mother is in a similar situation as mine, and was able to instruct me on how to help her maximize the benefits of the tincture. He really had a sincere interest in my situation, and it made me feel like I was in a pharmacy getting professional advice. While they were still low on edibles, but this experience was a complete 180 from my first one, and I'll be giving them another shot.

I hadn't realized until I came here to post this that they had responded to this thread. Thank you Patients Choice for responding to my review, and I while I appreciate the offer of the free gift, it's not needed and it's not necessary. My biggest problem hangup when I wrote the original review was the fact that my experience had been so disappointing after your store being so highly recommended. I'll be visiting your store again, thank you.

I've always been treated well by Patients choice, I usually visit about once a month. I've never had to wait more than a few Minutes. I really like their real time Menu that is available on their web site.

Registered to respond to this. I had been at patients choice almost since the beginning, and referred a ton of people to them. I was always really happy with their service and medicine. About two months back I brought in a friend who signed up with them, when we were purchasing the medicine my friend pointed out that there was only one ten dollar gram, and had inquired if there were other selections since they had advertised it as so in the ad we saw. The guy behind the counter called over the owner, Jim that you mentioned, and he pretty much accused my friend of being cheap, and told us both that if we didn't like the prices that we were more than welcome to go to another dispensary. We did, and I took most of my friends with me. Thanks for the great advice Jim, we go to Herbal Element now, and it's leagues better, and they don't insult their patients. Plus they don't sell moldy bud.
