Sorry for all the stupid questions you'll encounter from me over the next couple of months.. I'm trying to find out if it's too late to transplant my plant.. It's 57 days old today, sprouted outside in a old compost bucket(10 gallons) and was started not being serious... Seince then I've moved it inside bought over 100$ worth of nutes and like 80$ in cheap flouresenct bulbs... Now what I would like to do is make it hydroponic but I'm assumingthays not possible so my other options I was thinking is to put it in a nice medium.. Without all the crap, if anyone can tell me if this is possible with no chance of hurtin the plant? It's 2 weeks intoflowering and the bottom leafs are yellowing and falling off, and I think it's because the soil I'm using is crap.. Even with the nutes,, please and thank you in advance for the advice and thanks for taking the time to read this.. My baby depends on you

Before you go any further, you might want to fill out the troubleshooting form. Not that you are having problems yet, but our knowing your grow conditions and equipment would be very helpful for us to help you through the process of bringing her to harvest.

If the medium they are in now is unacceptable, it's never too late to transplant. Use proper care in handling the rootball, and don't break any branches. You'll likely pay a small price in harvest delay or some minor die-off, and likely the plant will go through a growth spurt. But if existing soil is that bad, it may well be worth the potential snags.

You can not (easily) take a mature plant and switch to hydro. Perhaps easing into a hempy bucket is possible, but I'm not sure. You can take cuttings from her though, and start the clones using hydro techniques. I'm a big proponent of soil grows though. More forgiving and natural.

But do yourself a really big favor. Keep your lips away from my nether regions. :jointsmile:

I'm sorry for this terrible post... I had my little brother do it for me...

So how do I go about transplanting it? Should I cut the pot it's in and work the soil off the roots some? Or dig her out?
