if my plant is preflowering and then i switch it back to veg, how will i know when the plant has finished converting back to vegging from flowering? will the buds die and fall off or will the trichomes just stop developing? I even heard that a bunch of new growth could come from the flowers. Im asking because i dont want to clone until they have switched all the way back to veg. Im hoping this will cut down on stress so the clones have a better survival rate.

yes rusty is the one to ask. I have similiar question as well. Vegged in jan to march then to 12/12 placed outside to finish. harvested top of plant let bottom to mature. Instead the bottom growth took off and planted started to veg, still vegging will it continue to veg then re bud when light decreaces ? sorry to jump in thought rusty could get to birds with one stone...

Started 4-19 with first pic and now at 5-27 you can see what the new growth came from the small buds i left on the plant for it to re veg itself. So, 38 days to get to this point. But were grown in with two re pots in between, then sat out in its pot for a few days before i put it in the ground. If ya got time and space new growth will grow as you see from your buds.
I re potted, but put the plant back in its same pot, but then after it had started to grow branches from the buds, i put it in a bigger pot to fill out, then chucked it into the ground:D Re potting, if done correct will not stress your plant, just do it when the plant is dry and it will slide right out:thumbsup:
Good luck man:rasta:

The Regrow will bud naturaly as the days get shorter. Only problem with regrows is that you must keep an eye on the stem. The branch can split the stem and peel off onto the ground if the weight gets too much.
You can stake the plant, or zip tie the stem so it will not split when she gets too heavy.
Here is one of this years regrows. before and after

Correct me if im wrong someone... but preflowering happens during the veg stage anyways. If your plant is preflowering then its mature and ready for flowering.

correctomundo! pre-flowering happens before flowering. this usually happens once the seedling is sexually mature (not so important from a clone).
