Hi Guys
I am going to be receiving a new line of LED grow lighting soon. My business partner is in charge of the product, I am in charge of the marketing. I don't have a huge amount of info on them right as of now, only that they are unlike anything on the market.
I am going to start testing them soon. For obvious legal reasons I cannot have videos of myself growing weed on my soon to be up and running website. Is there a plant out there which is commonly held as having the same growing properties as marijuana? For example if I show video's of my lights growing tomatoes will people understand that this translates almost perfectly to marijuana?
I am also going to be looking for a few experienced members to test them out. I will sell a few of them at cost to anyone interested in providing feedback for me. In exchange I need daily updates/pics/etc. If you are interested in testing PM me. I will put you on a list and send you info next week when the product arrives.

You would think if they are unlike anything on the market you would send test units out for free if they are going to give you real world data and pictures to help you sell these amazing lights.
Sounds fishy to me but good luck!

Um, perfectly? Not so much.:)
A better indicator is sweet, and hot, peppers
Tomatoes will put up with more and require less.
If your light will flower, and set fruit, with peppers, you have a winner for weed.
You'll find documentation on Greenpinelane.

Two problems here.
Most boards have paid advertisers for grow lights and are somewhat "protective" of them.
And lights "at cost," for "risky business" well documented, will be a very hard sell.
There are at least three light-cos supplying free lights now for side by side grows on various forums.
And, there are no PMs on this board.:(
(OK, three problems.):D
But, if you make enough posts, 50 I think, you can post an album and folks can leave picture comments to keep in touch.;)
I am by no means an expert, but view my albums and you may agree that I know a little bit about ledgrowing.
I would be happy to give you my honest opinion of your lights specifications, when you are ready to post them.
Aloha,

I beta test for IT companies - routers, NAS units, and software versions of the same hardware. I get my hardware for free. The price paid is the blood, sweat and tears of testing. BTW this board does not support PMs but Yahoo message me if you are interested. I also suggest that you read the terms of use for these boards b/c you are right on the edge.

Okay maybe "unlike anything on the market " was overselling it a bit. From what I am told they are supposed to consume even less energy than any LED lights currently on the market. I will be testing this over the coming weeks and months.
In terms of selling lights at cost vs. giving them for free to beta testers, time will tell which route we will choose. I would only sell at cost after having done our own testing to make sure the product works and works well. I might decide to give a few away though, we will see when the time comes.

Just curious, but what is different about your LEDs?

Bump. Let's see the specs. There is tight group of LEDers here. We are always looking for a higher spec.

We don't have the final specs established yet. They are undergoing testing. We have dropped a few models that didn't go so well, and we are tweaking these.
I can't give you very much information until they are finalized. I Will be updating this thread with pics and info as it becomes available. It might be a week or more before everything is finalized. I will keep you all posted.
