Narcotics detectives hit the mother load in Rainier Valley

Submitted by Rose Egge on Thursday, May 27th, 02:05pm

Narcotics detectives found 970 marijuana plants valued at nearly $1 million at a Rainier Valley home Wednesday.

Patrol officers were responding to a disturbance call at a home in the 6000 block of Redwing St. when they discovered the marijuana grow operation in the home, police say.

Narcotics detectives were called in and, according to police, found approximately 970 plants and 79 pieces of equipment, valuing approximately $985,800.

All four men found in the home were arrested at the scene and booked into King County Jail for Investigation of Violation of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act.

If that's the case then a good part of it is all about the money or assets they can seize and spend as they see fit. :(
