500 Watt LED Grow

Starting this log today about my 500 watt led grow using (1) 300 watt led ,(2) 120 watt led, I put it at around 500 watt led total. Sorry video is not from the start but I didnt think about it. These are God Bud clones that are about 3 weeks into veg. it takes these a little longer to get going. These have minimal growth after putting into flowering so I'm letting them go for a while. I'm growing in a 4x2 ebb and flow tray with 25 gallon res. using GH nutes. I have been super cropping these since they were tiny . I will be starting up a 2400 watt hps grow and using (4) 300 watt Induction lights on the sides to see whats happens. I dont know if all this will work or not, I've vegged under leds and induction with great results but I have never flowered under them. I bought these myself and I have no connections to any companies. I'll post every week and update with video and pics. Please ask any questions. Thank you

Subscribed. That's one rocking setup you have going there. Any chance we can get you to post the specs for each light? Make/model, watts, spectrum output (if known), anything else that is relevant?

I love how this place is becoming a haven for LED growers. Mods - here is yet another one. Can we have our own subgroup now? Perhaps under Indoor Growing > Lighting > LED??

the specs as follows, the 300 watt was custom made in china, it has 288 1 watt leds in red 660nm and blue 460nm in a 7:1 ratio , I had 3 of these made, the 120 watts are 112 1 watt leds , red 630nm, blue 460nm and orange 615nm.
This setup is using the 2 120 watts and 1 300 watt, a friend is using the other 2 300 watt leds. I should have completed pics of his soon. I just got tired of hearing all the talk about them and not knowing so i took the plunge and spent a hell of a lot of money. I also bought 4 300 watt magnetic induction lights to try out, they have only been used to veg with. I'll know soon if they help or work for flowering.I'm trying to buy a 450 watt led grow light that uses 3 watt chips instead of 1 watt, putting in my wavelengths makes them pricey . Hope this helps explain the setup. I'll take pics of the new build coming up and progress along the way on both.

why buy a 450w unit when 3 150w units is better for spreading the light...have you checked out my lights? 3w LED's :jointsmile:

yep, not a bad deal, I've been working with a couple China corps. that make them to my specs.get a better deal if I order more than 5, but oh well

What info do you have on the induction lights? Also when are you going to do a grow with them.

I really dont have a lot of info on the induction lights, I bought 4, 300 watt units and the plan right now is to use them as side lighting in a 2400 watt hps grow, they do get a little hot to the touch, but they put off just the right light for plants, just not sure they have the penetration to flower good plants, but I will start up a grow log for that grow when its up and going, I should have updates this week of my 500 watt LED grow, I'm going to veg them till there at least 18" and I have been super cropping them and them are branching out beautifully :)

got new pics and video taken yesterday, this god bud stays short so I'm letting it go for a while still, might bumb it up to 1000 watt led grow pretty soon, let me know what you think.

here are some new updates, been flowering for a week now, not much stretching with this strain, part of why i got it. Looking good and been bending them around to maximize space .

this is 6 god bud clones in 4x4x4 rockwool blocks surrounded by hydroton for stability , growing in a 2x4 ebb and flow tray with 25 gallon res., running GH nutes on the low side as always, just about to start adding in koolbloom. This is just about one week into flowering. I'll post updates soon, :smokin:
