whats growing between my nodes

idk what this is im a new grower is it just more leaves or is my plant showing sex

It's what they call "branches".

i didnt know if they were begining of new leaves or signs of preflowering

If you look at the main stem, at each node (each set of leaves) you will see two stipules (they're the two hair-like things). The preflowers will seem to pop out from behind them. Here's an example:
