This is my first grow so please don't think I am being stupid. But I quickly checked on my plants before work this morning. They have been on a 12/12 cycle for 1 week now and two of the plants have little green balls on the stem. Do pistils grow straight out of the stem or do the initially form a very small ball. The plants are budding too. I am growing fron Nirvana Feminised and I have since found out they have a reputation for hermies. Should I dump them now or see how they develop.

Thanks in advance

All women have a little penis but no balls,,, well figuratively speaking they have more balls than men...

The ball that a female produces before the pistil appears can tend to throw first time growers off. If you see a ball that is coming off where the node meets the main stock, should only be 1 ball per side. A little hair should appear from the center of this single ball. Give it at least another week to be certain. Pix would be a great help?

And if Nirvana has a history of hermies, STAY AWAY!!!

stress can cause hermies... get a growing curve going and the success rate will improve...
