Budding ?

How long after switching to 12-12 lighting should you see buds starting ? Its been 14 days since i switch to 12-12 and still i see no sign of budding but since the switch they have stated growing tall really fast is this normal ?

Two weeks you should be seeing pistils, white hairs coming out of the nodes. If you see them your well on your way to buds, just give it time !

If your not seeing these you could have a male ? But different strains take different amounts of time to show flowering, like i said give it time.

These are pistils, you should see some if you look closely

If growing from seed with a veg time under 8 weeks, it can take a little longer for a plant to show. Typically you wait till the plant shows sexual maturity to flower, but if done earlier, it may take longer to discern the sex.

i did grow from seed and the veg time was like 5-6 weeks so i will keep er going and hopefully see some buds starting soon :thumbsup:
