Ok, so to start i want to say that i am a complete newb when it comes to growing... But for the last 2 weeks i have been researching the hell out of various different sources of information and i have decided that i want to start growing when i move into my new apartment. So with that said i think i am going to buy this stealth cabinet off of ebay.. heres the link:Home garden stealth grow box PC case hydroponic gardens - eBay (item 250574650514 end time Jun-03-10 14:30:31 PDT) (http://cgi.ebay.com/Home-garden-stealth-grow-box-PC-case-hydroponic-gardens-/250574650514?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a5769bc92) I think that $550 is expensive but i dont really feel like building my own so ill pay the money for it.. Basically to start off i think im going to purchase an auto-flowering strain or a strain that doesn't grow to be that tall.. i think im going to let them veg for a couple of days and then im going to start the flowering process with a 12/12 light schedule.. and i would also like to incorporate lst or scrOG (i really dont know which one is better but i want the most yield)..

There are a few questions that i have and if anyone can help me answer them that would be great..! 1. Is this a good idea? 2.How much can i yield with this setup? 3. How close to automatic would growing an autoflowering strain be with this setup? 4. What are the best hydro nutrients nutrients? 5. Which would work best in this cabinet LST, scrOG, or SOG? 6. Are the lights that come with the cabinet sufficient enough for the amount of space and plants? If anyone could answer any of those questions it would greatly be appreciated! Thank in Advance =)

It will not be as 'stealth' as you might think. Perhaps it will block out most light, but it will not block noise of the fan(s)..... it doesn't have any air filtration, and where is the air exhausted that gets blown out?

If you are an experienced grower, you might get 2 oz of finished product if you are very lucky. I doubt if that is even possible without the use of HPS light (high pressure sodium). I have only run an autoflower once, and will never use them again. Better control with regular plants, since you determine when to flower, not the other way around. As far as nutrients, I would say use one of the most popular kind from General Hydroponics.... the three part is very adaptable. You will also need meters to read how strong your solution is, and what the PH values are, so they can change as the plants mature.

Good Luck!
