Welcome! I'm in the next city over (Costa Mesa) and used to live in Irvine. It's a bubble. It's a very nice area, but very conservative. Hard to explain. You shouldn't have a problem, but it's not the most MMJ friendly area even though everyone I knew there smoked. It'll be apples, mate :-)

demoreal thanks...where did you find that info?
5150 i looked into irvine lake and see that they have many species of fish, but im more looking something much closer, irvine lake from where i will be living is an hour and half away plus the 20something fee to fish and gas thats kinda expensive for me. :( but i most certainly will check it out when the money/time is right...
yeah it can be little expensive... i fish the surf with my fresh water gear. can be fun never know what you are going to hook into. check out scsurffishing lots of good info for surf and fresh water.

5150-i never fished saltwater before,so i have no clue on what to do with that i have a rod for saltwater but never done it yet..and most of those places posted above are no good because there either dried out or no public fishing.:( oh well i guess an hour drive and 25 bucks it is going to be....
