Might be asking a lot here but a closed mouth doesn't get fed and that's what this forum is for anyway right Just got a few questions :D

PURPLE HAZE

2lbs Purple Haze Mission
Best places to get seeds ordered discretely

How long can I wait to plant the seeds when I get them

Best place to store them in the mean time until planted

Will 1 seed per pot do well or do I need to plant more than 1 per pot

How many plants will it take to yield a lb (Rough Estimate and timing)

Stages and Procedures - Need to know each stage (Timing and what to do)

Got a whole bedroom to use in a private home and need to know the best set-up and how much space would I have to use if I wanted to grow more, like the spacing and lighting for each plant, Rather use the actual bedroom instead of the closet due the fact of ventilation through the window and extra space of course

Equipment - Whatâ??s the best kind of each piece of equipment, the price, and if there is a piece of equipment missing that I will need that's not below please let me know what it is, how much/many Iâ??m going to need, and the best brand to get. (Lights, soil, pot size, humidifier, fan, water, nutrients, etc.)

I know all this information is most likely scattered around this forum but I figured Iâ??d just ask these questions specifically as athread to the whole forum and get specific answers. In advance I appreciate any and everybodyâ??s feedback.

Not to rain on your parade... but if you dont know any of those things then how do you expect to get 2 lbs? Purple dreammmssss....

Good luck though. I would have never succeeded unless I got on these forums and read for months before I even posted. You will need to do alot of reading to get 2lbs!

Welcome to the forums by the way!

Buy a book. Thirty bucks. Something tells me it's gonna be a small drop in a BIG ass bucket for you.

People here will help but they won't do your homework for you. As Irydyum said, buy the book. Failing that, start reading the tutorials you find here. You will find most of the information that you are asking others to research for you. Seriously, not to be rude but I don't have the time to be your one on one tutor.

Start by reading this tutorial. Read the whole thing. Take notes. (http://boards.cannabis.com/basic-growing/127522-simple-noob-instructions-growin-da-dankness.html)

Also see the tutorial in my signature line below on grow room setup.

LOL I expected that kind of feedback. I just thought it was worth a shot to ask first but I appreciated all the responses anyway. Yeah I was planning on buying Marijuana Horticulture: The Indoor/Outdoor Medical Grower's Bible or/and Grow Great Marijuana: An Uncomplicated Guide to Growing the World's Finest Cannabis. Any first timer books you all recommend.

And at least answer this question for me what are the possibilities of yielding a lb plus off of 1 plant and how tall and how long would it take. Thanks again. :D

All summer, outside, maybe possible for a rookie. Make sure you have genetics that are suited to your expectations, and locale.

BTW, Med Growers Bible, Jorge Cervantes, aces in my opinion:thumbsup:

...and you're a handy-kinda-person, I'd suggest his smaller one, Marijuana grow basics, the "easy guide for cannabis aficionados"... I love his 'bible', but the thinner book is way more practical for the first-timer, including mesef.

{"760 Color Images!" "150+ Grow Rooms!"} :D

I think it cost me 30 bux locally, with the MH Bible being around 45-50. US list price, as printed on the back, is $21.95. I am reminded of the comparison between the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and the Encyclopædia Galactica... "First, it is slightly cheaper..."

The nice thing about the smaller volume is that it is actually a wee bit more up-to-date, and that it is loaded with P0pul4r-M3ch4nix-style illustration-photographs that do a great job of communicating the concepts involved (with a good dose of humor--see the section on 'security'). Plus, the book has many design ideas about how to structure a grow room, from micro and closet-sized grows, to larger gardening projects.

ISBN-13: 978-1-878823-37-3, if anyone's interested :)

irydyum is right...

outdoors all summer... Cant remember seeing an indoor grow with 1lb 1 plant. Im probably wrong though.

Or start it indoors in the winter and then take it outside. Would probably be a monster.

yeah, you might want to lower your expectations....at least for awhile! It takes time and alot of patience to get good yeilds. I've been growing for a year and still learn alot every round. Iry is right, the only way you are getting 1lb per plant is if it's going outdoors and you are going to be late if you start now.

Read, read and read some more. There's tons of info on this site and plenty of reference books to check out. Go to the book section on amazon and type in marijuana cultivation....you should have plenty of options to choos from! good luck!

...tho I came across one of the LST ghods on this site, who pulled 11oz from a single plant growing in DWC on a 3ga Rub'Maid tub, using LST. I can't remember how many colas he wound up with in the end, but the result was amazing...

Now, if one were to do either Outdoor/Greenhouse, for a whole summer, or Indoor-mirroring-outdoor, as some of our Aus.Friends seem ta... you might hit that number, yes, but you'll be vegging for a LONG time, and should be in five or seven gallons of dirt (or more) by the end of it...

MASS light. LONG veg. MUCH patience.

BIG smoke ;)

If yield is your concern then you are better off doing smaller continuous grows, at least in doors. Constant yield, shorter flower times = greater production.
