the basics of basics

So, I already got a full room setup for my awesome (hopefully) pot growing. I have racks attached to the ceiling for wires of lamps, fans, etc.
what I wanna know is...
-what type of lamps should I use? how many?
-how much water per plant? (average?)
- I just picked some seeds out of my last bag, what are my chances with these unknown seeds?
