ANOTHER Drug Test Question... Reassure me?

I'm not a daily smoker. I smoke about once a week, sometimes less often. The last time I smoked was May 1st. I smoked half a joint. On May 7th, When I found out I'd have to take a drug test for work on May 12th, I panicked.

I weight about 220lbs, and on May 7th, I began my detox. I've been drinking hundreds of ounces of water a day (not to the point of water intoxication) and taking 700mg of Niacin a day. I also drank a lot of green tea and cranberry juice. And I haven't forgotten to take my b12 vitamins to keep that pee nice and yellow!

I took 2 at home drug tests, at around 4 p.m. (which is when I have to drug test) after I had drank a bunch of water, and I passed both of them. My pee was a very light yellow. They were the First Check brand if that matters.

I'm gonna miss the occasional half joint, but I REALLY need this job.

I can't stop stressing about whether or not I'm gonna pass this drug test. UGH.

Am I in the clear?

The reason you passed the at home tests was because you were heavily diluted. You want to take those in the morning with the first void of the day when your THCA concentrations are at the highest level.

Drinking tons of water or any other liquids for that matter, days before a test will do nothing to help rid your body of THCA. Niacin is also a myth... The only way to rid the body of THCA is time, a high fiber diet, and exercise.

What you need to do is buy another at home test and test yourself with the first void of the day. If you pass then you will be fine to pass the lab test. Otherwise, you might want to substitute with synthetic urine or clean donor urine.

Okay, I went out and bought another home test. (I've spent $60 on these things!) I'll take it in the morning. Hopefully I'll pass it. I'm a really light smoker, so... :/ but if I don't, I'll be dilutin' the hell. I'm a chick and I've never practiced it, so the subsitution method would be kinda tricky for me.

Check up on subbing for the future. It really relieves a lot of stress and you can still take your meds.

So I'm good for my lab test? Should I still dilute just to make sure? The cut off on the home test was 50 ng and I don't know if the lab one will be more sensitive.

Yes I would do a mild dilution substituting gatorade for water and void a couple times before the test. No the lab test is not more sensitive than your home test. Good luck and be sure to post your results.

Well I took my test, and I will know if I pass in 24-72 hours. :/

I diluted a bit with water, as I cannot drink Gatorade. It's disgusting lol.

Now I just have to wait...
