ok, i got 3 mary j plants from this local dude who's been growin em outside. 2 stavias and 1 indica. they are no more than 8 weeks old....the 1st nite i jus had a small stavia. i kept it in a cup of water due to tha lack of potting soil. it seemed to be doin fine, the next day i get a larger stavia and indica and put them in water as well. the next day (which would be today) i get the potting soil this morning and put them all in miracle grow soil. but by then they're leaves are curly and they look weak. i heard that they are suffering from nute deficiency. is there anything i can do or should they be fine now??

oh, i forgot to mention that i've been keeping them in my closet with 2 cfl's about 6-8 in away from them. aluminum foil to reflect the light a lil more, and i have the sliding door open and a fan on low blowing fresh air into the closet...i see the new leaves growing pretty strong but the old leaves still look curly and withered...WHAT AM I DOING WRONG!?!?! i am on a very tight budget but i need all suggestions

You just over watered them. If the leaves are curling but still moist i.e not dry and crispy most probably you just overwatering. Only water them when they need it i.e. when the soil it wet. Also tin foil is no good as it creates hot spots on your plants. Matt white surfaces are the best reflective surface so ditch the tin foil.

Also if you put them into MG soil i doubt you will need to give them nutrients for a little white 3 weeks probably.

Good luck

Well if over water was the problem when the soil started to dry up a bit they should be a lot perkier. Also make sure your grow area isnt too humid or hot, this can also cause wilting leaves
